Surfboards
ON THE MOVE
After settling back to Cape Town, their son Bryce soon arrived. Bryce was a true ‘boy’. He loved riding bikes, balls, and swimming. Bryce was introduced to surfing at a young age – looking back now, perhaps aged 3, he was a little too young- the waves were at least double his size! Much to Mark’s disappointment, Bryce did not take immediately to surfing. But as Bryce got older, his love for surfing grew, and now can’t get enough.
Three years later, Teagan, the water baby arrived. From an early age, Teagan loved the water – she would swim for hours in any conditions! Not only does Teagan enjoy a paddle out on the surfboard with her Dad, she’s also passionate about dancing and the performing arts.
The family moved to Australia in 2014 and settled in Adelaide. The boys joined a few local surf clubs and are found most weekends at various surf spots along the mid and south coast of Adelaide.
DUSC represents the family’s connection to their heritage, South Africa and their new home, Australia. Their connection to South Africa remains strong with the introduction of a new range of surf boards into the Australian market.
